Detailed Description
York is one of England’s finest and most beautiful historic cities. There’s the iconic York Minster and architecture from medieval times, its magnificent Georgian town houses and its Victorian railway station. Within its ancient, encircling walls, York’s medieval streets and buildings are beautifully preserved in the historic heart of the city. Shambles is a must-visit, as one of the most recognised historic streets in England, often referred to as the best-preserved medieval street in Europe.
There are plenty of museums, art galleries, shops and places to eat, so you will certainly find lots to enjoy!
We will travel together by coach, then you will have free time until we will meet up and travel back to campus together.
Joining instructions will be provided upon purchase of a ticket, but you will need to be on campus for 7.45am.
