Our theme this year : “Fitting in or Belonging? - ‘If I get to be me, I belong if I have to be like you, it’s fitting in.’ (Brené Brown) 

Belonging sits at the heart of therapeutic work. Brené Brown reminds us that true belonging comes from bringing our authentic selves into connection, whereas fitting in asks us to shape‑shift to meet others’ expectations. At this year’s  Conference, we explore how our practices, our research, and our professional communities can create spaces where clients, practitioners and even researchers are free to be fully themselves. When authenticity is welcomed, not managed or hidden, the work of understanding, healing and growth becomes possible.
