To celebrate the acquisition of the North Staffordshire Miners' Wives archives into the University's Special Collections and Archives, we are hosting a thought-provoking roundtable discussion. This event will provide a unique opportunity to delve into the rich history and significance of the archive material.

Discussion Panel:

  • Chair: Ceri Morgan, Professor of Place-writing and Geohumanities and Arts and Culture Academic Lead
  • Panelists:
    • Rose Hunter, member the North Staffs Miners' Wives Action Group (NSMWAG)
    • Helen Burton, Special Collections and Archives Manager, Keele University

This discussion will shed light on the invaluable contributions of the North Staffordshire Miners' Wives and their enduring legacy of activism and community support.
