Zeynep Ozsuca Rattle and Peter Moore piano & trombone Concert![]() DescriptionWEDNESDAY 18 March 2026 Belfast-born trombonist Peter Moore made history as the youngest-ever winner of the BBC Young Musician Competition at just 12 years old—a title he still holds. Six years later, he became the youngest co-principal trombone of the London Symphony Orchestra, a position he continues to hold alongside his role as Professor of Trombone at the Royal Academy of Music. Joining him is Turkish pianist Zeynep Özsuca, whose international training in Turkey, the US, and Germany has shaped a dynamic career as a concert pianist, repetiteur, accompanist, and educator. Now based in London, she teaches at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and performs widely across the UK and beyond. Together, they bring expressive artistry and technical brilliance to the stage. Moore has been praised for his “warm lyrical tone” (Gavin Dixon, LSO) and “eloquence and nobility that one might have thought impossible except by the human voice” (BBC Music Magazine). Özsuca’s playing has been described as “delicate piano rippling and refracting… with easy, often playful communication” (Alexandra Coghlan). Programme:
