Maxwell Quartet Concert![]() DescriptionWednesday 22 April 2025 Known for pairing Haydn quartets with their own folk-inspired compositions, the ensemble has toured internationally—from Wigmore Hall and Berlin Konzerthaus to sold-out US venues and BBC broadcasts. Their acclaimed projects include Worksongs, exploring Scotland’s industrial folk traditions, and Gather, a sweeping journey through centuries of Scottish music. Collaborators range from Grammy-winning artists to leading composers and creatives across genres. In 2025–26, they debut at Carnegie Hall and premiere a new work by Eleanor Alberga. With a passion for innovation and connection, the Maxwell Quartet continues to expand the possibilities of string quartet performance.
