The Bioreactors and Growth Environments Workshop is a two-day training course hosted by Keele University. The workshop has been running for over a decade, offering the opportunity to interact and learn from UK and International experts (online and in-person presenters). It is targeted at postgraduate students (MSc and PhD), post-docs and academics in industry and academia. Delegates are provided with a comprehensive understanding of the use of Bioreactors in Tissue Engineering. The course focuses on bioreactors and growth environments for tissue engineering, including for research, industrial and clinical use.

Delegates gain the opportunity to take part in a 'Design a Bioreactor' challenge, working in groups with expert support to develop a novel bioreactor design and to present it back to colleagues.

There is also the opportunity to present a turbo talk on your bioreactor related research (abstract submission by Fri 29th January 2027).
