2026 Bioreactors and Growth Environments for Tissue Engineering Workshop

Description

The Bioreactors and Growth Environments Workshop is a two-day training course hosted by Keele University. The workshop has been running for over a decade, offering the opportunity to interact and learn from UK and International experts (online and in-person presenters). It is targeted at postgraduate students (MSc and PhD) and post-docs in industry and academia. Delegates are provided with a comprehensive understanding of the use of Bioreactors and Organ-on-a-Chip systems in Tissue Engineering. The course focuses on bioreactors and growth environments for tissue engineering, including for research, industrial and clinical use.

Delegates gain the opportunity to take part in a 'Design a Bioreactor' challenge, working in groups with expert support to develop a novel bioreactor design and to present it back to colleagues.

Local accommodation can be booked at the Courtyard by Marriott Keele (approx. 3 minute walk to venue).
