The Mercia Stem Cell Alliance (MSCA) is made up of members of the stem cell
research communities across the Midlands and North West. Its goal is to harness the
expertise of its members to develop and promote stem cell research in the UK.

To foster new collaborations and strengthen existing ones between the members of the Mercia Stem Cell Alliance, each year one of the University partners organises a scientific meeting where all members meet to discuss and share their exciting research.

In 2025, the 13th Annual Scientific Meeting is being organised by the members of the Keele University at the Keele Hall.
