Widening Participation in Primary Care Research and Education

We have two wonderful keynote speakers whose careers focus on widening participation in medical education and primary care research:

• Prof Scott Wilkes, Head of School of Medicine and Professor of General Practice and Primary Care, University of Sunderland 

• Dr Shoba Dawson, Senior Research Fellow, University of Sheffield.

The programme is still under construction – we have had 32 abstracts submitted across a range of topics – we hope that most of the abstracts will be accepted to enable colleagues to present their work in some way.

We hope that this online conference will offer the opportunity for people who might have caring responsibilities or difficulties travelling to be able to participate in our conference – and to those who do not have the funds to attend an in-person event.
