Event Dates: 6th, 14th and 22nd June 2023 (only)

Host: The Impact Accelerator Unit, Keele Medical School, Staffordshire UK (held online via MS Teams)

Aim: to improve knowledge and understanding of the practical ways to design and use knowledge mobilisation strategies in health and care practice.

Combining talks and interactive breakout sessions, you will be guided through the theories and practical strategies to support knowledge mobilisation in research design and practice.  

Objectives: 

  • Understand the practical ways in which knowledge mobilisation theory can be applied to implementation and why this is important 
  • Understand the important role of knowledge mobilisation in getting best evidence into health and care practice and policy 
  • Understand how to design a knowledge mobilisation and implementation strategy 
  • Consider how to better engage stakeholders and know which stakeholders to engage in the implementation process 
  • Understand how to influence organisations and policy 
  • Understand different types of impact and pathways to impact  
  • Understand our how our Impact Accelerator Unit works and how to establish your own ‘impact team’ 
  • Develop a draft knowledge mobilisation proposal or implementation strategy for funding
