Keele University Astrophysics have teamed up with Keele Concerts Society and Foden's Band to present an out of this world concert. All seven movements of of the Planets Suite will be performed, accompanied by a short talk and the most breathtaking Hubble Space Telescope images for each of the planets. The evening will conclude with the search for new extrasolar planets and then Into The Unknown...

Around the world Foden’s Band is a trademark that musicians associate with inestimable class and musicianship. The Band has recently received a major awards from both Arts Council England and the Heritage Lottery Fund. Most recently the band have cemented themselves as one of the leading Brass Bands in the world. Keele Observatory will be open specially after the concert and, weather permitting, the audience will be able to view planets and other spectacular night-sky objects using the Observatory's historic Grubb refractor.
